After one major surfing event ends on Florida’s Space Coast another begins. From Thursday through Saturday, April 16-19, hundreds of surfers will hit the waves at Sebastian Inlet for the 25th Annual National Scholastic Surfing Association’s Regional East Coast Championships to earn a berth in The NSSA National Championships this summer.

This weekend, the National Scholastic Surfing Association was at Wrightsville Beach and some of the area's best young surfers were on hand trying to rip up the waist high swell and improve their surfing.

The National Scholastic Surfing Association today announced a two year sponsorship with WaveWatch.com. The partnership will designate WaveWatch as the official surf forecasting service of the NSSA. The sponsorship will allow WaveWatch to reach thousands of NSSA members and their parents with premier forecasting features and tools.
